The “Chena Hut” Inspiration

Our resort’s architecture is a tribute to the ancient “Chena” farmers of Sri Lanka. Historically, these farmers built elevated huts and treehouses to protect their crops from wandering elephants at night.

We have reimagined this tradition into three-storey boutique villas soaring 43 feet into the jungle canopy. Each villa blends “treehouse charm” with modern elegance, featuring:

  • Private plunge pools on the ground floor for a refreshing dip under the stars.
  • A middle floor with luxury living spaces and jungle views.
